Jumpstart your workout goals in 2021 with Texas Sweats for Pets, a virtual fitness-a-thon, benefiting Austin Pets Alive! and It’s Time Texas.
- The deadline for participants to collect donations through their pet fundraiser pages is January 29, 2021 at 6:00pm CST.
- All pet fundraisers must be created through the event platform. Fundraisers created using a different platform will not be considered.
- All donations must be made through the pet fundraiser page web platform. No cash donations will be accepted.
- The pet who raises the highest total through their fundraiser page will be announced during the event on January 29, 2021. If the winner is not in attendance, they will need to respond to communications within 24 hours. If we do not get a response, the next highest fundraiser will be declared the winner.
- Fundraiser participants must be current Texas residents in order to be considered.
Any type of pet can participate!
Yes, you can create as many fundraiser pages as you would like.
Yes, if you have more than one pet, they can use the same fundraiser page. We only ask that these animals live in the same household.
No, to create a fundraising page you may live anywhere. However, in order to be selected as the winner you (and your pet) will need to be Texas residents currently residing in the state.
The pet fundraiser who raises the most funds will be featured in Austin Fit Magazine's ‘Austin’s Fittest Dog’ issue.
No, we do recommend it though. The winner will be announced during the event and we will have opportunities to showcase pet fundraisers. Once we receive confirmation with the winner, we will schedule an appointment in the following week (Feb 1-6) to learn more about your pet. The Fittest Dog’s Issue of Austin Fit Magazine will be published in March of 2021.
Unfortunately no, however if the 1st place winner is not available, the reward will be forfeited to the next highest fundraiser.
